LocalX Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and LocalX (to be provided) ("LocalX," "we") on the use of the LocalX mobile app. By registering or using the App, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. What LocalX is
LocalX is a platform where tour organizers (tour operators and guides) publish tours across Kazakhstan, and travelers find and book them. LocalX is not a tour organizer: the itinerary, safety, quality, and delivery of a tour are the responsibility of the organizer listed on the tour page.
2. Account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.
- You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. You are responsible for actions taken through your account.
- Provide accurate information: the organizer uses it to contact you about your trip.
- You can delete your account in the App. Deletion is not possible while you have upcoming bookings or active tours.
3. Booking
- A booking is made for the selected date and number of participants, subject to availability. The price, package contents, and meeting place and time are shown on the tour page.
- Cancellation and refund terms are set by the organizer and are shown on the tour page before you book.
- The organizer may cancel a booking or close registration for a date. If this affects your booking, you will receive a notification.
- At the meeting point, the organizer may check your ticket by QR code.
4. Tour organizers
- Only organizers who have passed document verification in LocalX can publish tours. Every tour goes through moderation.
- The organizer must deliver the tour as described and comply with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, safety requirements, and the stated cancellation terms.
- The organizer receives participants' contact details only to organize the trip and may not use them for mailings or share them with third parties.
5. Reviews, chats, and other content
- You can leave a review only after the trip. A review must reflect your actual experience.
- The following are prohibited: insults, threats, discrimination, spam and advertising, fraud, other people's personal data, and materials that violate the law or the rights of others.
- Any user can report a tour, review, message, or user, and can block another user. We review reports and may remove content, hide a tour, or block an account.
- By publishing content, you allow LocalX to display it in the App. You retain the rights to your content.
6. Liability
- LocalX provides a platform for finding and booking tours and is not liable for the actions of organizers or other users, except in cases expressly provided for by law.
- We strive to keep the App running without interruption but do not guarantee that there will be no interruptions, including during updates.
- Claims regarding the delivery of a tour should be sent to the organizer; LocalX helps resolve them upon request at to be provided.
7. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will notify you of material changes in the App. By continuing to use the App after the changes, you accept the new version.
8. Governing law and contacts
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, if no agreement is reached, in court at the location of LocalX.
